Transcript
- Roul Terrago: I can't thank Lord Silvertongue enough. I was as good as dead out there. My compass lost all bearing. If not for your men waving me down, I would never have found Port Justinian.
- Class: Pardon my interruption, but you are not in Port Justinian. This is the heart of Crimsonblade territory.
- Roul Terrago: (looks at his map) That doesn't make sense. The sailors around here have been nothing but cordial, and the buildings match the descriptions I have heard of the port. But...now that you mention it, the coastline doesn't quite match my map...
- "Talva Silvertongue": Master Roul, please don't be fooled by the local scoundrels. They'll cheat you as soon as soon as your eyelids drop. Come, allow me to escort you to my cabin so that we can discuss the...delivery of your cargo.
- "Talva" begins to leave with Roul
- "Talva Silvertongue": Boys! Deal with this interloper, please.
Pirates ambush the player
- Bilge Rat: Stop the thief!
- After killing them, enter Rhodri's Private Dock to warn Roul
- More pirates attempt to stop the player
- Crimsonblade Pirate: Don't get in the way!
- At the entrance to the ship, more pirates attempt to stop the player
- Jacktar Brute: Don't go in there!
- Inside the ship
- Roul Terrago: Something is amiss. Why does my compass continues to spin? And what are those pirates doing here?
Reach Roul
- Roul Terrago: Is this a trick? Why have you brought me here?
It's just like the wanderer said. You've been so eager for me to unlock my cargo...come to think of it, you don't even match the description of Talva Silvertongue. - "Talva Silvertongue": Damn you! You just had to stick your nose where it doesn't belong. The jig's up, boys. Gut them!
- Class: (to Roul) I'll take care of this. You get to safety.
- Roul flees
- "Talva Silvertongue": (unsheathes his swords) Come on, boys!
Show this meddler no mercy!
"Talva" and his minions attack the player
- After killing "Talva", hurry to Roul
- Roul Terrago: (from a distance) Get your hands off me...What are you doing?
- Jacktar Brute: (from a distance) If you won't help us with the cargo, you'll help us feed Bessie!
Roul is tied dangling above the water
- After killing the Pirates, more arrive
- Roul Terrago: Let me down! Wait, what's that in the water?
Bessie emerges from the water, accidentally freeing Roul in the process
- After killing Bessie and the Pirates
Talk to Roul
- Roul Terrago: Thank you. If it weren't for you, I would have lost everything—my life included.
I'm ashamed I shrugged off your warnings and didn't trust my map. It's just that my compass acted so strangely... - Class: Perhaps that stone behind you had something to do with it.
- Roul Terrago: I think you're right. This is some sort of lodestone. Its effect on my compass is undeniable at this distance. We should destroy it before it attracts any other victims.
Destroy the lodestone
- Roul Terrago: Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to my ship and take its cargo to the real Port Justinian.
