Entrance to the dungeon
Defiled Catacomb is a dungeon in Diablo IV. It is located at Boulder Ridge in the Fractured Peaks.
Completing the dungeon grants the Aspect of Tempering Blows. The dungeon has a level of 25.
Lore
The catacomb's interior
The catacomb was apparently constructed by the Cathedral of Light at some point during the Reign of Enmity. However, by 1336, the crypt was overrun by skeletons and spiders. The Gate Keeper was assigned to guard something within the crypt, but what he was guarding was a mystery lost to time. While a tempting target, graverobbers warned against exploring the crypt.
The crypt was cleared out by the Wanderer.

- While not specified, the catacomb appears to have been built by the Cathedral of Light, as the Cathedral Cross can be seen in the dungeon entrance.
