Primary Skills (also called Primary Attacks or Basic Skills) are a category of skills introduced in Diablo III. They are basic attacks that have neither cooldowns nor cost resource, and are meant to be spammed between skill uses. Primary Skills are major means of resource recovery as they generate resource with each use and—at times—passively.
