Animating Purpose is a Library of Zoltun Kulle side quest in Diablo Immortal. It triggers by talking to Stelliform Sentry whenever it appears in the Ruined Promenade.

Objectives
- Follow the Golem to the Cache.
(The golem Stelliform Sentry has requested your aid to repel some invaders pursuing a cache of Kulle's reagents. Follow it.) - Kill the Wraiths (0/6).
(Wraiths surround the cache of Kulle's reagents. Repel them.) - Open the Cache (0/1).
(Open the cache.) - Kill the Wraiths (0/5).
(More wraiths have appeared with the cache opened. Defeat them while Stelliform Sentry flees with the reagents.) - Talk to the Golem.
(The wraiths are gone, but could return any moment. Check the status of Stelliform Sentry.) - Kill the Sand Scorpions and Gather Explosives (0/6).
(More invaders have entered the library — Stelliform Sentry thinks they're human. Defeat them and retrieve what they used to breach the library.) - Place Explosives in the Cache (0/1).
(You've taken the Sand Scorpions' explosives. Trap the cache.) - Return to the Golem.
(Head away from the cache and meet up with Stelliform Sentry.) - Kill the Horadrim Wraith (0/1).
(Most of the wraiths were defeated by your trap, save one. Kill the Horadrim Wraith.) - Talk to Stellliform Sentry.
(Stelliform Sentry has succeeded in its duty. Talk to it.)

- After defeating the Wraiths, open the cache
More wraiths appear
- Class: Get the components away from here!
- Stelliform Sentry: Not designed to hold ritual components. Violation of purpose. Uncomfortable. (retreats with the components)
After defeating the Wraiths
- Stelliform Sentry: More spirits gather. Humans enter to the south Have breached archives. Explosion.
- Class: What are they after?
- Stelliform Sentry: Admixtures. Explosives. Risk of wall damage. Retrieve?
- Class: I'll go after the humans. You watch this spot.
- Look for the Sand Scorpions
The Sand Scorpions to the south
- Bandit: Light those potions up, make some holes, and we'll pick this place clean!
- Class: I'll be taking those explosives.
- After defeating the Bandits, gather explosives and return to Stelliform Sentry
Rig the Cache with explosives
- Stelliform Sentry: Away from the trap. Quickly.
- Retreat from the Cache
- Horadrim Wraith: Spoor... of the quarry. At last... the red hunt... is at its end.
- More wraiths including a strong one, appear around the cache
All the Wraiths, bar their leader die to the trap
- Horadrim Wraith: Betrayers... you will be leashed to the hunt... by chains of sinew.
After defeating the Horadrim Wraith
- Class: Keep those components on the move if you don't want them stolen. The master doesn't need them anymore.
- Stelliform Sentry: Not permitted. Returning reagents to cache. Your assistance valuable.
Complete. Mandatory reward. (rewards the player)
